From the Booth to the Code
“I knew exactly what operators needed — and couldn’t find it anywhere.”
I spent 15 years behind the camera at weddings, corporate galas, birthday parties, and every event in between. I’ve run booths at 2 a.m. with a line of guests, scrambled when hardware failed mid-event, and felt the frustration of software that was clearly built by people who’d never worked a real event. Pictor started because I knew exactly what operators needed — and couldn’t find it anywhere.

First Photo Booth Event
Ran my first photo booth at a friend’s wedding with a cobbled-together rig. Guests loved it. I was hooked.
Full-Time Operator
Left my day job to run photo booths full-time. Built a fleet of booths and started serving corporate clients alongside weddings and parties.
The Frustration Point
After years of fighting buggy software, missing features, and zero innovation, I started sketching what the ideal photo booth platform would look like.
Pictor Is Born
Started building Pictor with one mission: create the tool I wished existed for the past decade. Every feature designed by someone who’s actually used it at 2 a.m. during a live event.
First to AI
Launched AI Photo Booths a full year before any competitor. GroupSense face preservation technology made AI photos actually usable for groups — not just singles.
First to AI Video
Launched AI Video — again, first in the industry. Transform video clips with AI styles or generate videos from a single photo. Competitors are still in development.
