Photo Booth Software for Brand Stores and Pop-Ups

Campaign-matched AI looks, branded capture, and lead capture that pushes into any stack.

Last updated

A flagship store, a pop-up, a festival booth, a product launch — the point is rarely the photo. It is the share, the email, and the proof the activation did something. Pictor is the software behind that: branded capture, AI looks built to your campaign rather than a stock filter, and lead capture that pushes straight into whatever stack your team already runs.

Most brands and agencies get this through a photo booth operator or an experiential production partner, who brings the hardware, the printers, and an attendant for the run. Tell us about the activation and we’ll connect you with an operator in your market. Brands running a permanent in-store experience, or the same activation across many locations, often license Pictor directly.

What the activation gets

Your brand, not ours

Branded overlays carry your logo, colours, and campaign messaging on the guest-facing experience across all paid plans, and can be swapped between activations or between locations. If the app itself must carry your brand with no Pictor presence at all — the usual requirement for a flagship or a long-running programme — that is white-label or grey-label delivery, part of an Enterprise arrangement (from $1,500/yr plus custom terms).

AI looks built for the campaign

This is the part that gets shared. AI presets are included from the Basic plan, but the tier that matters for brand work is Pro ($99/mo) and up: it adds the custom prompt editor, digital props, and background removal, so a look can match a product palette, a campaign key visual, or a seasonal concept instead of a generic filter. Guests can be dropped into a branded scene without building the set. Premium ($149/mo) adds AI video and custom AI video for a motion deliverable.

Lead capture into any stack

Collect emails, phone numbers, and custom fields before or after the photo session. Export as CSV, or push leads in real time by webhook to any CRM, marketing platform, or internal tool that accepts webhooks. For agencies this matters more than a native connector list, because the stack changes with every client.

Guest-paid, if the model calls for it

Brand activations are usually funded by the brand, so the paywall is often switched off. When a consumer-facing activation does charge — a premium print or an AI render at a ticketed event — Pictor’s fee is 10% on Basic and Pro, 5% on Premium, and 2% on Enterprise.

Image quality a creative director will sign off

DSLR support is available on Pro and Premium. For anything that will be pulled into paid social or a case study deck, that is the difference between usable assets and a fun night.

One activation, many locations

Licensing is per active device and feature tier, and tiers can be mixed on one account — a higher tier at the flagship, something simpler at satellite stores. Each license allows one live Virtual Booth.

Reaching people who are not in the room

The Virtual Booth is a browser-based guest experience with no hardware and no app download — a campaign microsite, a remote audience, or an online extension of an in-store activation. Included with Premium ($149/mo) and Enterprise. Each event carries its own allowance of 500 virtual sessions; past 500 in a single event, additional sessions deduct one token each from your balance. Sessions that include an AI output are not charged the extra session token.

When the venue network fails

If the connection drops, captures queue locally on the device and automatically process and send when it returns. Emergency phone support is available on every plan, including while an activation is live.

How brands and agencies get Pictor

Through an operator or production partner

Photo booth operators are Pictor’s core customers, and many already work with brands and agencies on experiential builds. They own the hardware, the printers, the spares, and the on-site staffing; you get the creative and the data. Ask the partners you already brief whether they run Pictor, or get in touch for an introduction.

Direct, for in-house and multi-location programmes

Brands running a permanent in-store experience, or the same activation across a retail estate, often license Pictor directly. It runs as a native app on iOS and Android, and you can build and test the full experience free for as long as you need — useful for getting creative approved before anything is booked.

For a permanent in-store installation, talk to us first so we can confirm the configuration before hardware is specified.

Worth knowing up front

  • No 360 booth or dedicated roamer mode. If a brief specifies a 360 platform, Pictor is not the capture software for that unit.
  • No native Mac or Windows booth app. Native desktop apps are on our roadmap; Mac and PC today means the browser-based Virtual Booth, which requires Premium.
  • Full white-label is Enterprise. On self-serve plans the guest experience carries your branding, but the app itself is not white-labeled.
  • No unlimited-device licensing. Each active device carries its own license and tier.

FAQ

What photo booth software works for a brand activation or pop-up?

Pictor runs as a native iOS or Android app with branded overlays, a custom AI prompt editor on Pro and above, and lead capture that exports as CSV or pushes by webhook to any system. It can be licensed directly or supplied by a photo booth operator or experiential production partner.

Can the photo experience be fully white-labeled for a brand?

The guest-facing experience can be branded with your logo, colours, and messaging on any paid plan. Full white-label and grey-label delivery, where the app itself carries no Pictor branding, is part of a Pictor Enterprise arrangement starting at $1,500/yr plus custom terms.

Can we build an AI look specific to our campaign?

Yes, on Pro ($99/mo) and above. The custom prompt editor lets you author a look matched to a product palette or campaign visual rather than choosing from fixed presets, and background removal lets guests be placed into a branded scene without a physical set.

Can captured leads go into our client’s CRM?

Yes. Leads export as CSV or push in real time by webhook to any CRM, marketing platform, or internal tool that accepts webhooks, so the same setup works across clients with different stacks.

Can one activation run across multiple store locations?

Yes. Licensing is per active device and feature tier and tiers can be mixed on one account, so a flagship can run a higher tier than satellite locations. Each license allows one live Virtual Booth.

Can we extend the activation to people who are not in the store?

Yes, through the Virtual Booth — a browser-based guest experience with no app download, included with Premium and Enterprise. Each event includes 500 virtual sessions before additional sessions deduct one token each.
