Photo Booth Software for Car Dealerships
Branded delivery-day photos your customers share themselves — the cheapest referral marketing on the lot.
Last updated
Delivery day is the one moment in a car sale the customer actually wants to photograph. Most dealerships handle it with a salesperson’s phone and a hope that the customer posts it. Pictor turns it into a consistent, dealership-branded photo the customer receives instantly and shares themselves — the cheapest referral marketing on the lot.
Dealerships can license Pictor directly and run it from a tablet on the showroom floor, or get it through a photo booth operator who handles the hardware. Tell us about your store and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Why dealerships bother
The delivery photo, done properly every time
A branded overlay carrying your dealership name, the model, and the date turns an inconsistent phone snap into something the customer wants on their feed. Guests receive photos on their own phone with no app download, so sharing happens in the moment rather than after a follow-up email.
Referrals, not impressions
Every share carries your dealership’s branding to an audience of people who know the buyer personally. For a business where referral is the highest-converting lead source, that is the case on its own — separate from anything the photo costs to produce.
Beyond delivery day
The same setup covers the events dealerships already run: model launch nights, service-department open days, sponsorship activations, charity drives, and the showroom’s share of a local festival. Overlays swap between them, so one licence covers the calendar.
AI that makes it worth sharing
AI presets are included from the Basic plan. Pro ($99/mo) adds the custom prompt editor, digital props, and background removal — useful when you want the car and customer placed against something better than the showroom wall, or a look matched to a manufacturer campaign. Premium ($149/mo) adds AI video for a short clip rather than a still.
AI actions run on tokens: roughly 1–2 per AI image, 1 for background removal, 5–15 per five-second AI video render. Cost is shown before each action runs, and tokens never expire — which suits a dealership doing a handful of deliveries a day rather than hundreds of captures an hour.
Photo quality that reflects the product
DSLR support is available on Pro and Premium. For a $40,000 purchase, image quality is part of how the moment reads.
One licence per active device
Licensing is per active device and feature tier, and tiers can be mixed on one account — useful across a group with several rooftops, or a showroom plus a service drive.
It keeps working when the network does not
If the connection drops, captures queue locally on the device and automatically process and send when it returns. Emergency phone support is available on every plan.

How dealerships get Pictor
Direct — the usual route here
Unlike a venue, a dealership is not running a weekend event: it needs something always available on the showroom floor. That suits licensing directly. Pictor runs as a native app on iOS and Android, so a tablet at the delivery bay is the whole setup, and you can build and test free for as long as you need before paying.
For a fixed or unattended installation on the floor, talk to us so we can confirm the configuration before you buy a stand or mount.
Through an operator — for events
For launch nights and larger activations, a photo booth operator running Pictor brings hardware, printers, and staffing for the evening. Operators are Pictor’s core customers; get in touch and we will point you toward ones serving your area.
Should guests pay?
Usually not — a delivery photo is marketing, so most dealerships leave the paywall switched off and absorb the cost. It is available if you ever want it: guests can pay for prints or premium renders, and Pictor’s fee is 10% on Basic and Pro, 5% on Premium, 2% on Enterprise.
Worth knowing up front
- No 360 booth or dedicated roamer mode. Pictor does not currently support either — if you want a car-turntable-style 360 capture, this is not that product.
- No native Mac or Windows booth app. Native desktop apps are on our roadmap; Mac and PC today means the browser-based Virtual Booth, which requires Premium.
- No unlimited-device licensing. Each active device carries its own license and tier.
- Full white-label is Enterprise. Guest-facing branding is available on any paid plan; a fully unbranded app is a custom arrangement.

FAQ
Can a car dealership use photo booth software for delivery photos?
Yes. Pictor runs as a native iOS or Android app on a tablet at the delivery bay, applies a dealership-branded overlay, and sends the photo to the customer’s own phone with no app download so they can share it immediately.
Does a dealership photo setup need a staff member to operate it?
No. The guest flow is self-serve, though in practice a salesperson is usually present at delivery anyway. For a fixed or unattended installation on the showroom floor, contact support@pictor.pro to confirm the configuration first.
Can we brand the photos with our dealership name?
Yes. Branded overlays carry your dealership name, logo, and colours on all paid plans, and overlays can be swapped between delivery photos, launch nights, and service events. A fully white-labeled app is part of an Enterprise arrangement.
Does Pictor support 360 photos of a car?
No. Pictor does not currently support a 360 booth or a dedicated roamer mode, so it is not a turntable-style vehicle capture tool. It photographs people — customers with their car.
What does it cost per photo?
Standard captures are covered by the subscription. AI actions consume tokens: about 1–2 tokens per AI image, 1 for background removal, and 5–15 per five-second AI video render, with tokens from $0.20 each at 100 down to $0.07 each at volume. Tokens never expire.
Can one account cover several dealership locations?
Yes. Licensing is per active device and feature tier, and tiers can be mixed on a single account, so a group can run different tiers across rooftops.
