Photo Booth Software Built for Your Business
Pictor serves five distinct kinds of business. Find the one that describes you.
Last updated
If your business hosts events or draws foot traffic, you have probably hired a photo booth company before — per event, per weekend, per season. Pictor is the software those companies run. This is where you find out what it looks like at your venue, and how to get it without buying a warehouse of equipment.
Are you the photo booth company? You want the operator side instead: Pictor by event type or Pictor for photo booth operators.
Find your business
| You are… | What matters most | How you usually get it |
|---|---|---|
| An event venue or hotel | Venue-branded photos, guest-paid revenue, no attendant required | Through an operator, or in-house from $49/mo |
| A family entertainment center | Per-guest spend, self-serve operation, AI that draws teens | Through an operator, or in-house from $99/mo |
| A company hosting its own events | Brand consistency, lead capture, photos your marketing team will publish | Through an operator, or in-house from $99/mo |
| A haunted or seasonal attraction | Low-light capture, compressed season, no off-season waste | Seasonal rental from an operator, or direct |
| A mall or shopping center | Foot traffic, seasonal photo programmes, guest-paid prints | Through an operator, or direct for permanent programmes |
| A brand store or pop-up | Shareable UGC, branded overlays, lead capture | Through an operator or agency, or direct |
| A car dealership | Delivery-day photos, referrals, social proof | Through an operator, or direct per location |
Two ways to get it, and why most start with an operator
Photo booth operators are Pictor’s core customers. For a venue or retailer they are also the shortest path to a live photo experience: the operator owns the hardware, the printers, the consumables, the spares, and the on-night troubleshooting, and they have already run hundreds of events. You get the guest experience and your branding on every photo.
Ask the operators you already book whether they run Pictor — if they do, everything on these pages is something you can request by name. If you would like an introduction, get in touch and we will point you toward operators in your market.
Businesses with high event volume, existing AV staff, or a permanent space often prefer to license Pictor directly and run it on a tablet they already own. That works too, and every page below covers both routes.
What is true whichever route you take
- Guests run it themselves. Self-serve capture, photos delivered to the guest’s own phone, no app download.
- Guests can pay at the booth. The built-in paywall covers prints, AI renders, and premium experiences. Pictor’s fee is 10% on Basic and Pro, 5% on Premium, 2% on Enterprise.
- Your branding, not ours. Branded overlays on every paid plan. Full white-label and grey-label delivery is an Enterprise arrangement.
- AI tokens never expire. Roughly 1–2 tokens per AI image, 1 for background removal, 5–15 per five-second AI video render. Cost shown before each action runs.
- Offline capture queue. If the network drops, captures are stored locally and process and send when it returns.
- Emergency phone support on every plan, including during a live event.
- Native iOS and Android. Mac and PC means the browser-based Virtual Booth, which requires Premium. There is no native desktop booth app — those are on our roadmap.
- No 360 booth or roamer mode. Pictor does not currently support either.

FAQ
What kinds of business use Pictor?
Two groups. Photo booth operators run Pictor as the software behind their business. Separately, venues and establishments that have historically hired those operators — hotels and event spaces, family entertainment centers, companies hosting their own events, haunted and seasonal attractions, malls, brand stores and pop-ups, and car dealerships — either work with an operator running Pictor or license it directly.
Do I need to be a photo booth company to use Pictor?
No. Venues, attractions, and retailers license Pictor directly and run it themselves on an iOS or Android tablet. Many prefer to work with a photo booth operator who already runs Pictor, which avoids owning hardware, printers, and consumables. Email support@pictor.pro for an introduction to operators in your market.
How do I find a photo booth operator who uses Pictor?
Ask the operators you already work with, or contact support@pictor.pro with your location and the kind of space you run, and we will point you toward operators serving your market.
Can my business run a photo booth without any staff?
The guest flow is self-serve: guests capture their own photos and receive them on their phones without downloading an app, so no attendant is needed to operate it. For a permanent or unattended installation, contact support@pictor.pro to confirm the configuration before buying hardware.
Does Pictor run on Mac or Windows?
Not as a native booth app — native Mac and Windows apps are on our roadmap. Mac and PC users today run the Virtual Booth, a browser-based guest experience included with Premium ($149/mo) and Enterprise.
Is there a free way to try Pictor?
Yes. You can build and test a full booth setup free for as long as you need, with no credit card. A paid plan is required to run a live event. There is also a free live demo every Wednesday.
